The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of South West Trinidad served by the South Oropouche Booster Station, who are presently experiencing an interruption in their pipe borne water supply, that this is due to mechanical problems at the facility.

Emergency repair works currently ongoing at the Station, is expected to be completed by Tuesday 11th April, 2017.

Areas affected include:

  • South Oropouche
  • San Francique
  • De Gannes Village
  • Aripero
  • Thicke Village
  • Parts of Siparia
  • Avocat
  • Parts of Penal
  • Rousillac
  • Fyzabad
  • La Brea

Customers are advised to manage their water use efficiently, as it may take 12 to 24 hours for the supply to normalize to some affected areas, after the Station returns to full operation.
