SUPPLY DISRUPTION

TO CUSTOMERS SERVED BY NAVET WATER TREATMENT PLANT

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of South East Trinidad served by the Navet Water Treatment Plant that, there will be an interruption in their pipe borne water supply on Wednesday 20th January 2020, between the hours of 7.00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

This is due to a planned power outage by the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) that will affect operations at the facility.

Areas to be affected include:

  • Robert Village

  • Deep Ravine

Customers are advised that it may take up to 48 hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas in accordance with pipe borne water supply schedules.

For further information or assistance, customers are asked to contact WASA’s Customer Call Centre toll free at 800-4420/4426. A limited truck-borne water service will be available with priority given to special homes, health care and government institutions.
