SERVICE DISRUPTION

TO PARTS OF DIEGO MARTIN

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of Diego Martin served by the Four Roads Pumping Station, who are currently experiencing an interruption in their pipe borne water supply that, this is due to a ruptured 10 inch diameter discharge pipeline at the facility.

Emergency repair works currently underway are expected to be completed by 4:00 p.m. today - Thursday 21st January, 2021.

Areas to be affected include:

  • Goodwood Park
  • Victoria Gardens
  • Union Road
  • Richplain Road
  • La Puerta Road
  • Morne Coco Road
  • Hillcrest Drive
  • Covigne Road
  • Dangerous Corner
  • Diego Martin Main Road and associated side streets

Customers are advised that following the resumption of operations of the plant, it may take up to 24 hours for the scheduled pipe borne water supply to normalize to some affected areas.
