The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of South East Trinidad, serviced by the San Pedro Booster Station that there will be a disruption to their pipe-borne water supply on from 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday 10th February, to 5.00 a.m. on 11th February, 2021.

This has become necessary in order to replace a leaking section of 16-inch diameter pipeline at Railway Road, off Dades Road, Rio Claro.

Areas affected include:

  • Ecclesville
  • Legendre/Mahabalsingh
  • Bristol
  • Dades Settlement Trace
  • Mora Heights
  • Agostini
  • Mile End
  • Mafeking
  • Cunapo Southern Main Road
  • Clearwater
  • Deep Ravine
  • Union
  • Cedar Grove
  • Navet Village
  • Naparima Mayaro Road between Rio Claro and Mayaro

Customers are further advised that it may take up to 48 hours for the scheduled pipe borne water supply to normalize to some areas after the facility returns to operation.

A limited truck borne service will be available to affected customers, with priority to Health Institutions, Government Agencies and Homes for the Aged. For further information or assistance, customers can also contact WASA's Customer Call Centre toll free at 800-4420/26.
