SERVICE DISRUPTION
TO CUSTOMERS SERVED BY THE
CHATHAM WATER TREATMENT PLANT

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of South West Trinidad served by the Chatham Water Treatment Plant, that there will be a disruption in their pipe borne water supply on Tuesday 23rd February, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

This has become necessary in order to carry out planned maintenance at the facility.

Areas affected include:

  • Southern Main Road from Cap De Ville Junction to Point Coco Ext Junction.
  • Rancho Quemado
  • Santa Flora
  • St Francis Village
  • Boodram Trace
  • Augustusville
  • Bennet Village
  • Palo Seco,
  • Erin
  • Point Coco
  • Coromandel Road
  • Los Bajos
  • Waddle Village
  • Chatham
  • Unity Road

Customers are advised that it may take up to 24 hours for the scheduled pipe borne water supply to normalize to some affected areas, following the resumption of operations at the facility.

A limited truck-borne water service will be available upon request. For further information or assistance, customers are asked to contact WASA’s Customer Call Centre toll free at 800-4420/4426.
