SERVICE DISRUPTION

TO CUSTOMERS SERVED BY
THE VALSAYN HIGHLIFT STATION

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of St. Joseph to Tunapuna, served by the Valsayn Highlift Station, who are presently experiencing a disruption in their pipe borne water supply that this is due to mechanical issues affecting the facility.

Emergency repair works currently underway are expected to be completed by 8:00 p.m. today - Thursday 25th February, 2021.

Areas affected Areas affected include communities north of the Eastern Main Road from St. Joseph to Tunapuna, inclusive of Curepe and St. Augustine.

Customers are advised that it may take up to 24 hours for the scheduled pipe borne water supply to normalize to some affected areas, following the resumption of operations at the facility.
