SERVICE DISRUPTION

AREAS SERVED BY HILLSBOROUGH WEST WATER TREATMENT PLANT

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers served by the Hillsborough West Water Treatment Plant that, there will be an interruption in their pipe borne water supply on Thursday 1st April 2021 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

This is necessary in order to carry out planned maintenance works at the facility.

Areas affected include:

  • Hope
  • John Dial
  • Bacolet
  • Scarborough
  • Darryl Spring
  • Pump Mill

Customers are further advised that it may take up to 12 hours for the scheduled pipe borne water supply to normalize to some areas after the facility is returned to operation.

A limited truck borne service will be available with priority to Health Institutions, Government Agencies and Homes for the Aged. For further information or assistance, customers can also contact WASA's Customer Call Centre toll free at 800- 4420/26 or 639-6850/53.
