RESCHEDULED:

SERVICE DISRUPTION TO CUSTOMERS IN CARENAGE, GLENCOE AND ENVIRONS

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers served by the Tucker Valley Booster Pumping Station that, the disruption in their pipe borne water supply previously planned for Tuesday April 13, 2021, has been rescheduled to Wednesday April 14, 2021 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.

The rescheduling of this disruption is to coincide with a planned power outage by the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) on the latter date, which will also affect operations at the Tucker Valley Pumping Station.

Areas affected include:

  • Along the Western Main Road from La Horquette Valley Road to Teteron including all side streets encompassing Chaguaramas, Carenage, Big Yard, Abbe Poujade, Gittens Dale, Haig Street, School Street, Glencoe Estate, West Vale, The Park, Gulf View and La Horquette Valley Road.

Customers are advised that it may take up to 24 hours for the scheduled pipe borne water supply to normalize to some affected areas following the completion of the works.

A limited truck-borne water service will be available upon request. For further information or assistance, customers are asked to contact WASA’s Customer Call Centre toll free at 800-4420/4426.

The Authority apologises for the inconvenience and thanks customers for their patience and understanding.
