SERVICE INTERRUPTION

TO CUSTOMERS SERVED BY THE
NAVET WATER TREATMENT PLANT

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers served by the Navet Water Treatment Plant who are currently experiencing an interruption in their water supply that, this is due to mechanical problems impacting operations at the facility.

Emergency repair works currently underway are expected to be completed by 8:00 p.m. on Saturday April 24, 2021.

Areas affected include:

  • Hindustan
  • Whiteland
  • Piparo
  • Iere Village
  • Sisters Road
  • Williamsville

  • Mayaro
  • Union
  • Biche
  • New Grant
  • St. Julien
  • Indian Walk
  • St. Mary’s Village Moruga
  • Poonah
  • Manahambre
  • Brothers Road
  • Buen Intento
  • Barrackpore
  • Borde Narve
  • Penal Rock Road.

Customers are advised that it may take up to 48 hours for the scheduled pipe borne water supply to normalize to some affected areas following the completion of the works.
