SERVICE DISRUPTION

MAINTENANCE WORKS ON SEWERAGE SYSTEM BETWEEN BEETHAM GARDENS AND HDC DEVELOPMENT AT ST. JOSEPH’S OLD ROAD

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority), advises that maintenance works will be conducted on the underground sewerage pipeline between Beetham Gardens and the HDC Development at St. Joseph’s Old Road, beginning this evening, Monday 12th December and ending Friday 16th December 2022.

Monitoring of the system revealed overflows and the system was immediately pumped and the area sanitized. Ongoing maintenance works will serve to reduce flows to an acceptable operating level, after which, detailed sanitization of the HDC building and the Eastern Main Road will be executed.

Motorists are asked to proceed with caution when approaching the jobsite, and to obey the instructions of Traffic Control Officers on duty
