SERVICE DISRUPTION

SUPPLY INTERRUPTION TO CUSTOMERS SERVED BY THE GRAN COUVA BOOSTER STATION

The Water and Sewerage Authority, (the Authority), advises customers served by the Gran Couva Booster Station, who are currently experiencing an interruption in their water supply, that this is due to a faulty motor at the station, as well as a leak on the 12-inch pipeline, located at LP#236, Gran Couva Main Road.

Emergency repairs are currently underway and are expected to be completed by Wednesday 14th December 2022 at 9:00 p.m.

Preysal19th to 20th December 2022

Customers are further advised that upon completion of these works, it may take up to 48 hours for the supply to normalize to some affected areas in accordance with established supply schedules.

A limited truck borne service will be available upon request. This can be requested through the following self-service options:

  • Use of the mobile WASA Services App which can be downloaded for Android mobile customers from the Play Store or iPhone mobile customers from the Apple store.
  • Use of the Customer Portal available on the Authority’s website: www.wasa.gov.tt.

  • Alternatively, customers requiring direct assistance or further information can contact WASA’s Customer Call Centre toll free at 800-4420/26.
