SUPPLY DISRUPTION

IN SOUTHWEST TRINIDAD

The Water and Sewerage Authority, (the Authority), advises customers in parts of South- West Trinidad that there will be an interruption in their water supply from 8:00 a.m. on Thursday 19th January to midnight on Friday 20th January 2023.

This has become necessary to facilitate emergency repairs to a leaking 32” diameter pipeline obliquely opposite the Mosquito Creek Cremation Site.

Areas to be affected include:

Caribbean Gas Chemical Limited, Trinidad Generation Unlimited, Union Industrial Estate, Labidco Industrial Estate, La Brea, Vessigny, Union Village, Sobo, Belle View #1, Rousillac, Otahetie, Dow Village, Avocat, Fyzabad, Pepper Village, Chinese Village, Standard Road, Bushe Village, Siparia Old Road, Harris Village. Off Thicke Village Booster – Quarry Settlement, Quarry Road, Belton Trace, Along SS Erin Road from Siparia Market to Cor. of Fyzabad Field Trace, Bacanno Hill, Sudama Village. Friday 20th January 2023 at midnight

Customers are further advised that it may take up to forty-eight (48) hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas, in accordance with established water supply schedules, following the completion of these repairs.

A limited truck borne service will be available upon request. This can be requested through the following self-service options:

  • Use of the mobile WASA Services App which can be downloaded for Android mobile customers from the Play Store or iPhone mobile customers from the Apple store.
  • Use of the Customer Portal available on the Authority’s website: www.wasa.gov.tt.
