SERVICE DISRUPTION TO CUSTOMERS SERVED BY THE NORTH OROPOUCHE WATER TREATMENT PLANT

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority), advises customers in East Trinidad served by the North Oropouche Water Treatment Plant, who are currently experiencing a disruption in their water supply, that this is due to a ruptured 42” pipeline in the vicinity of the Santa Rosa Racetrack, west bound lane, off the Churchill Roosevelt Highway.

Repair works will commence today, Friday 20th January 2023 at 8:00 a.m. and is scheduled to be completed by Saturday 21st January 2023 at 10:00 a.m.

Town of Sangre Grande, Sangre Chiquito, Manzanilla, Guaico Tamana Road, Little Coora Road, Bon Air Road, Howsen Village, Coryal Village, Nestor Village, Foster Road, Ojoe Road, Toco Road, Fishing Pond, Vega de Oropouche, Plum Mitan, parts of Malabar, La Horquetta, Greenvale, San Raphael, Brazil, Carapo, O’Meara Industrial Estate, parts of Mausica Road, Signature Park, Maloney Gardens, Five Rivers, Millennium Park, Sunrise Park and Golden Grove Road Saturday 21st January 2023 at 10:00 a.m.

Customers are advised that it may take up to 24 hours for supply to normalize in some of the affected areas following the completion of works.
