UPDATE 1 SERVICE DISRUPTION TO CUSTOMERS SERVED BY THE NORTH OROPOUCHE WATER TREATMENT PLANT | |||||
The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority), advises customers in East Trinidad served by the North Oropouche Water Treatment Plant, who are currently experiencing a disruption in their water supply, that this is due to a ruptured 42” pipeline in the vicinity of the Santa Rosa Racetrack, west bound lane, off the Churchill Roosevelt Highway. Repair works will commence today, Friday 20th January 2023 at 8:00 a.m. and is scheduled to be completed by Saturday 21st January 2023 at 10:00 a.m. Areas affected include:
Customers are advised that it may take up to 24 hours for supply to normalize in some of the affected areas following the completion of works. A limited truck borne service will be available upon request. This can be requested through the following self-service options:
