SERVICE DISRUPTION

TO CUSTOMERS IN SAN FRANCIQUE

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in the San Francique area, who are currently experiencing a disruption in their water supply that this is due to a ruptured 8-inch diameter pipeline, which occurred as a result of the remedial works being undertaken by NIDCO, on the landslip at #502 Santa Cecelia and La Fortune Pluck Road.

Emergency repairs are being conducted in collaboration with the NIDCO contractor on site and are expected to be completed by Friday 10th February 2023.

Areas to be affected include:

Santa Cecilia, Murray Trace, Antilles Trace, Maria David, Tenant Trace, Ramcharan Trace, Saltmine Trace and environs. 8:00 p.m. Friday 10th February 2023

Customers are further advised that it may take up to 24 hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas, in accordance with established water supply schedules, following the completion of these repairs.

A limited truck-borne service will be available upon request which can be made through the following self-service options:

  • WASA Services App available via the Play Store or Apple store; or
  • Customer Portal available on the Authority’s website: www.wasa.gov.tt.
