SUPPLY DISRUPTION

TO CUSTOMERS SERVED BY THE LADY YOUNG AND MORVANT BOOSTER STATIONS

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of Morvant and environs, who are experiencing a disruption in their pipe-borne water supply, that this is due to mechanical and electrical issues currently being experienced at the Lady Young and Morvant Booster Stations.

Emergency repair works presently underway are expected to be completed by Wednesday 15th February 2023.

Areas to be affected include:

Upper Marie Road, St Francois Valley Road, Romain Lands, Mon Repos, Laventille Road/ Laventille Road Ext., Never Dirty, Chinapoo, Redhill, Pelican Ext., Coconut Drive, Second Caledonia, Vegas, Las Alturas, Almond Courts, Morvant Avenue & environs, Lady Young Avenue, Calvary Hill and Alexis Wednesday 15th February, 2023

Customers are further advised that it may take up to 48 hours for the supply to be restored to some affected areas following the completion of these works.

A limited truck-borne service will be available upon request which can be made through the following self-service options:

  • WASA Services App available via the Play Store or Apple store; or
  • Customer Portal available on the Authority’s website: www.wasa.gov.tt.
